The mission of ShareTheMic is to utilize the power of advocacy with music performers who wish to raise awareness and funds for humanitarian causes by way of volunteerism and activism.
We do this in two fundamental ways.
- First, We begin by conceptualizing and designing simple long term strategic marketing programs with a focus on audience growth, fundraising options, and sustainable cultural diplomacy benefits to effectively follow each Music Group(s) – NPO – Sponsor relationship throughout its cycle.
- Second, We seek out and discover up-and-coming music artists and partner them with specific cause organizations and invite them to collaborate in designed,managed and supported media campaigns. In turn, collectively we then promote the cause objective to a national and international youth engaged audience.
How does ShareTheMic work?
By developing opportunity with strong partnerships and providing:
- Talent Partnerships: Building relationships with and for Musicians / NPOs / NGOs to help raise awareness for specific cause initiatives. STM takes special focus on youth engagement and incorporates social media and strategic planning in all of our relationship management services.
- Fundraising Support Initiatives: STM is in the process of building global grassroots fundraising campaign initiatives by discovering and training musicians to become advocacy spokespeople in exchange for helping them promote their music and providing opportunities to reach new audiences.
- Advocacy, Awareness and Dissemination: Our team looks at targeting realistic goals in our advocacy models. We start by looking at how we can help raise awareness for a cause through the marketing power of creating and curating “groups” of passionate music artists for your organization. These groups can leverage music content, viral media, the power of their fan base, and their voice to drive awareness around your program/campaign directives.
- Managed NPO/ Sponsor / Brand Communications: After ShareTheMic designs, implements and launches a cause awareness program, we follow with providing managed communication support with all groups involved. Our group has extensive experience on building audience sustainability to reach all of your goals and create better and stronger impact results.
